SALIU Tohno Hinoki Cutting Board

A cutting board of quarter-sawn Tono hinoki cypress by SALIU (LOLO, Gifu). Tono hinoki grows slowly in cold mountains, giving it a fine, dense grain - the same timber used to rebuild Ise Shrine. Untreated, light in the hand, gentle on knives, finished one by one at a local sawmill.
